Refund Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026
Before you rely on this: this is a solid, business-specific starting draft, not a substitute for review by a licensed attorney or accountant familiar with your local consumer-protection requirements.
The short version

If our editorial team rejects your press release, you get a full refund, processed within 48 hours of the rejection decision. If your release is approved and published, the $99 fee is final - publication is a one-time, permanent service, not a subscription you can cancel.

1. Rejected submissions - full refund, within 48 hours

Every submission is paid for up front and then reviewed by our editorial team against our published editorial guidelines. If your release is rejected - meaning we decline to publish it at all - you are entitled to a full refund of the $99 fee.

Refunds for rejected releases are processed within 48 hours of the rejection decision being made. The refund is issued back to your original payment method through our payment processor; from there, how quickly it reflects in your account or on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer, which is outside our control.

2. Published releases - no refund

Once your release has been approved and published, the fee is final and non-refundable. This reflects the nature of the Service: publication is a one-time action that immediately delivers what you paid for - a live, permanently hosted article - rather than an ongoing subscription you might cancel partway through.

✓ Refundable

Release rejected during editorial review, before publication

✕ Not refundable

Release approved and published

✕ Not refundable

You change your mind after publication for reasons unrelated to editorial rejection

✓ Refundable

We're unable to publish within a reasonable time due to an error on our end

3. Requesting minor corrections instead of a refund

If your release needs small corrections rather than outright rejection (for example, a factual error or formatting issue we flag during review), we'll typically reach out to request a revision rather than reject the submission outright. This isn't a refund situation - it's part of the normal editorial process on the way to publication.

4. How to request a refund

If you believe you're owed a refund and haven't received one within the timeframe above, contact us at hello@caribbeantechnews.com with your order number and we'll look into it promptly.

5. Chargebacks

We'd rather resolve a payment issue directly - please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, since a chargeback can delay resolution and may affect your ability to use the Service in future.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Refund requests are handled under the policy in effect at the time you made your purchase.
